We hoard our creativity for good, only partnering with brands that share our vision of a greener, more inclusive world.

We’re committed to creating meaningful impact through our work. Our Client Screening Program ensures every collaboration aligns with our values of sustainability, social responsibility and ethical practices. By carefully evaluating each project and client, we build partnerships that contribute to a better world, guided by integrity and purpose-driven design.

Criteria for Further Evaluation
For projects that may not fully meet our criteria but show potential alignment with Yugen’s mission, we conduct a thoughtful review assessing fit and potential to drive positive change.
Exploring whether our guidance and strategic design support can create lasting change that aligns with our mission.
Determining if clients are open to change, aligning their business with sustainable and ethical practices.
Evaluating how the core mission reflects our focus on future-focused design for climate impact and social responsibility.
Seeking perspectives from partners, employees and community members to assess the potential for meaningful collaboration.
Negative
No thank you...
We avoid partnerships that conflict with our values and mission. The following practices are incompatible with our commitment to integrity, systemic change, and sustainability:
Causing environmental damage, such as excessive pollution, deforestation or other destructive practices.
Compromising worker rights, failing to ensure safe working conditions, or undervalue fair wages and labor standards.
Concealing operational impacts, sustainability efforts or social practices (e.g. greenwashing and impact exaggeration).
Lacking commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, or engaging in discriminatory practices.
Excessive waste or irresponsible production practices without effort to mitigate environmental impacts or seek sustainable alternatives.
Unwilling to embrace change and adapt to more sustainable and ethical practices for the benefit of the planet and society as a whole.
Practices that pose significant health risks to consumers, communities and/or the natural world.
Actions that negatively impact local communities and their well-being.
Greenwashing or other deceptive marketing practices regarding sustainability.
Failing to take responsibility for the social and environmental impacts of their actions.
